The National Research, Development and Innovation Fund has launched a call for proposals to support activities aimed at securing domestic and international intellectual property protection for intellectual creations and facilitating their utilisation.
The programme focuses on activities related to obtaining domestic and international industrial property protection, strengthening intellectual property management, and promoting the utilisation of protected intellectual creations. It prioritises the development of intellectual property rights protection systems and supports initiatives that enhance the commercial and practical application of research and innovation outcomes.
The objective of the call is to support activities that facilitate the protection and utilisation of intellectual property at both domestic and international levels. It is designed to strengthen the ability of applicants to secure industrial property rights and to promote the effective use of intellectual creations generated through research and innovation activities.
The programme is open to a wide range of beneficiaries, including institutions of higher education, education institutions outside higher education, budgetary research institutions, other budgetary institutions, enterprise-based research organisations, non-research enterprises, non-profit research organisations, other non-profit organisations, private individuals, and the HUN-REN Hungarian Research Network.
Eligible applicants include private individuals residing in Hungary and legal entities registered in Hungary or in the European Economic Area with a branch office in Hungary. This includes various types of enterprises, budgetary bodies, and non-profit organisations as defined under the relevant organisational classifications.
The total budget allocated for the programme is HUF 500,000,000. The project duration is 18 months.
