The Google for Startups Accelerator: Australia and New Zealand is a ten-week equity-free program designed to support Seed to Series A startups building AI and machine learning-driven products by connecting them with Google’s expertise, tools, and global network.
Immediately after the introduction, the focus areas of the program include equity-free support for the duration of the accelerator, dedicated mentoring from Google teams, exclusive training opportunities through technical bootcamps, access to Google’s network of industry experts, early access to new AI products and tools through Trusted Tester and EAP programs, Google product credits for eligible startups, strategic guidance on company and product direction, and technical project partnership support to solve key engineering challenges.
The accelerator is delivered by Google through its Google for Startups initiative, focusing on helping high-potential startups scale faster by improving both their technical capabilities and business strategy. The program runs over ten weeks and is structured to provide hands-on engagement with Google engineers, mentors, and industry specialists.
Startups selected for the program are typically at Seed or Series A stage and demonstrate meaningful traction with a scalable product or service. The program places strong emphasis on companies working in AI and machine learning, especially those building defensible, technology-driven solutions with large market potential.
Participants benefit from direct collaboration with technical experts who help address complex product and infrastructure challenges while also gaining exposure to advanced tools and emerging technologies within the Google ecosystem. This combination of mentorship, technical support, and product access is designed to strengthen startup growth and readiness for global scaling.
