Deadline Date: June 30, 2026
The GrowHer Agribusiness Accelerator Programme is an 8-week blended learning initiative designed to empower women in agribusiness through digital learning, expert mentorship, practical application, and market-oriented skills development.
The programme focuses on targeted training, digital empowerment, networking and visibility, strategic growth, agribusiness knowledge development, expert mentorship, and market-oriented growth to help women build sustainable and scalable agribusiness ventures.
Implemented under the Agri-Business Facility for Africa (ABF) Project, the GrowHer Agribusiness Accelerator is developed to strengthen women’s participation in the agricultural sector by providing the knowledge, confidence, and tools required to transform agribusiness ideas into practical business opportunities.
The programme supports women currently engaged in agribusiness or farming, those working within the broader agrifood value chain, and aspiring agripreneurs seeking to develop their skills and launch new ventures across OACP regions, including Africa, the Caribbean, and the Pacific.
The accelerator combines self-paced digital learning through the Agribusiness e-Academy with interactive expert sessions, peer reflection, and hands-on business application. Participants will engage with courses covering Agriculture as a Business, Climate-Smart Agriculture, Business Model Canvas, AgriCanvas, Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), Exporting to the EU, and EUDR compliance.
Through live expert-led virtual sessions, participants will gain practical insights, real-world experiences, and guidance to apply their learning to their agribusiness operations. The programme also supports participants in achieving market readiness by understanding customer needs, improving operational efficiency, and preparing for sustainable business partnerships.
The GrowHer Accelerator includes an 8-week learning journey with two live sessions per week along with self-paced learning. The programme is delivered virtually and is designed to provide practical business development guidance, confidence to lead and grow agribusiness ventures, access to a community of female agripreneurs, and Agribusiness e-Academy certificates upon completion.
Selected participants will also have the opportunity to intern with agribusiness partners, gaining further exposure and experience within the sector.
