The Vinnova is requesting grant applications to support research and innovation projects that contribute to the green and digital transition through advancements in raw materials.
The focus areas, the call include raw materials exploration, primary supply, design and production, use, reuse, recycling, research and innovation, and advancing solutions across the raw materials value chain to support the green and digital transition.
The call is the first proposal initiative launched by the Raw Materials Partnership for the Green and Digital Transition (RAMP). It aims to support collaborative projects that contribute to addressing key challenges related to raw materials through research and innovation activities.
Applications must be submitted under one of six topics available within the raw materials value chain. Applicants are required to select the topic that best aligns with their project’s primary objective and expected impact.
The indicative total budget for the call exceeds €34 million, subject to change as additional funding organizations confirm participation. Swedish participants may receive a maximum Vinnova grant of €420,000 per project.
The call is open to transnational consortia consisting of at least three partners from three different participating countries. A minimum of two partners must be from EU Member States or associated countries.
