The Google for Startups is inviting applications to support tech startups using artificial intelligence to develop solutions for energy transition across Europe and Israel.
The program focuses on AI-driven solutions for grid modernization and enhancement, demand flexibility and optimization, and energy affordability and competitiveness for households and industries.
The accelerator brings together cohorts of 10 to 15 startups to address key technical challenges and accelerate business growth through a combination of remote and in-person sessions, one-to-one mentoring, group learning, and sprint projects. Founders identify their most pressing technical challenges and are paired with experts from Google and the industry to work on solutions that strengthen their products and business models.
Participants benefit from specialized workshops and deep dives covering product design, customer acquisition, and leadership development. The program also provides access to Google’s ecosystem, including early access to AI products, cloud credits subject to eligibility, and free Cloud TPU access to support machine learning research.
Startups receive equity-free support throughout the program, along with dedicated mentoring, technical training opportunities, and strategic guidance on company and product development. The accelerator also enables close collaboration with experts to address complex technical issues and enhance innovation capabilities.
Eligible startups must demonstrate traction, typically ranging from pre-seed to Series A and beyond, and be headquartered in Europe or Israel. They should be building scalable, technology-driven products with strong market potential, preferably leveraging AI or machine learning. Participation requires commitment from technical leadership and alignment with the program’s focus on energy transition solutions.
