Applications are now open for 6th Cohort of the Continuum Ocean Enterprise Studio and Incubator Program.
Four years in, the latest iteration of their Studio and Incubator will exclusively support US-based startups developing ocean data technologies and services across all applications aligned with the priorities of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Ocean Enterprise Initiative.
The 3-month program activates their community to contribute to and grow scalable companies and impact. The Studio and Incubator program is intentionally designed around Seaworthy founders via their unique approach; embracing human-centered design, they place the needs, experiences, and aspirations of entrepreneurs at the core. Through empathy, understanding, and experience, they individually tailor their support for each founder to address their unique challenges. In this way, they help support and develop founders as people, as much as their solutions.
Aims
- They aim to support 5 to 7 existing early-stage startups and co-create 1 new startup for each cohort.
Funding Information
- NOAA supported scholarships (a $25,000 value) enable no cost or equity requirements for each participant.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible Country: United States
- They build cohorts of two types of participants:
- Current founders growing their existing early-stage startups
- Aspiring founders co-creating a new startup with Seaworthy.
