The Timbuktoo Creatives Ideation Programme is designed to transform promising creative ideas into investable, sustainable ventures.
Targeting early-stage founders from across Africa’s creative industries, the programme provides structure to validate concepts, build entrepreneurial capabilities, and prepare participants for market entry and funding opportunities.
The 6-week programme is fully virtual and Pan-African. Participants will engage in two live online sessions per week, mentorship and peer feedback and Online assignments and community engagement. All sessions will be delivered in English. A stable internet connection and device for virtual sessions are required. Selected participants are expected to commit 5–8 hours per week.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants
- Creative entrepreneurs at the ideation or prototype stage
- Individuals or teams with well-articulated ideas
- Applicants aged 18–35 (priority given to youth and women)
- Residents of: Nigeria, Ghana, Rwanda, Kenya, South Africa, Senegal, Morocco, Egypt, Ethiopia, Zambia

- Demonstrated originality and potential for scalability
- Passion, creativity, and coachability
- Commitment to fully participating in the 6-week programme

Business Criteria
- Pre-revenue or early prototype ventures
- Strong potential for growth and ecosystem integration
- Not currently in another incubation/acceleration programme
