Are you a young and ambitious entrepreneur? Apply to join the Standard Bank Enterprise Development Youth Forward Programme.
This tailored 6-month programme is designed to empower 50 youth-owned businesses in operation for 12 months or more with an annual revenue of R100 000.00 with the tools and skills needed to develop competencies that will enable them to increase revenue, attract more customers, generate jobs, and scale their businesses.
Eligibility Criteria
- Do you meet the following qualifying criteria:
- Must be a South African citizen/Own a registered business in South Africa
- Age: 18 – 35 years
- Minimum number of years in business: 12 months
- Annual revenue must be at least R100,000 (total sales in one year)
- Must have at least 51% black ownership in the business
- Various industries
- Must employ at least 1 or more persons full-time
- Must be involved in the full time running of the business
- Location: Gauteng and surrounding provinces preferably (the programme delivery will be blended with in-person sessions in Johannesburg at your own cost)
- Minimum educational qualification: Matric certificate, but this may be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
- Must have English language proficiency
- Must have access to an electronic device and internet connectivity for online learning and basic computer literacy
- Have a strong desire and commitment to grow their business
- Submission of evidence of CIPC company registration, a BBBEE Certificate or Sworn Affidavit and, a written motivation.
