The Ecosystem Fund, administered by inspirent on behalf of the Scottish Government, provides grants to organisations that are driving entrepreneurial growth and innovation across Scotland.
Funding Information
- The Fund offers two tiers of funding:
- Tier 1: £0 to £9,999
- Tier 2: £10,000 to £40,000
- The maximum grant available is £40,000 per project.
Eligible Projects
- Funding is available to support projects that:
- Expand access to entrepreneurship for underrepresented groups.
- Deliver skills development, mentorship, and collaboration.
- Boost Scotland’s visibility as a global hub for startups.
- Increase access to funding and investment opportunities.
- Encourage innovation.
Eligibility Criteria
- They’re looking for those who can make a lasting impact, including:
- Incubators, accelerators & community groups – supporting early-stage entrepreneurs.
- Universities, colleges & education providers – fostering enterprise learning and innovation.
- Industry associations & non-profits – driving sector-specific entrepreneurship.
- Un-constituted groups or individuals – exploring opportunities to encourage entrepreneurship.
- Established businesses & private organisations – collaborating with startups and pre-startups.
- Organisations, groups, or individuals must be headquartered or have significant operations in Scotland.
