Deadline Date: April 27, 2026
The VivaTech is inviting innovative tech startups to participate in the Impact 2035 challenge, seeking transformative solutions that prioritize digital sovereignty, sustainability, and measurable societal impact.
The challenge focuses on key themes including sustainable planet and green tech, encompassing green IT, energy-efficient infrastructure, smart cities, and circular economy; health, well-being, and inclusive society, covering healthcare, longevity, and access to essential services; the future of learning and work, emphasizing lifelong learning, reskilling, and future job opportunities; and responsible and sovereign tech, including open source solutions, data sovereignty, ethical AI, and trusted infrastructure.
Startups applying should have at least a minimum viable product or prototype, a clear roadmap toward measurable impact by 2035, and early validation such as traction or partnerships. Solutions will be evaluated based on their potential societal and planetary impact, commitment to data sovereignty and ethical technology practices, technical feasibility and scalability, startup maturity including private ownership and progress toward product-market fit, and team capability to execute with advanced cloud technologies.
The Impact 2035 challenge celebrates startups leveraging technology to shape the next decade while addressing pressing global challenges such as healthcare, climate resilience, ethical AI, and equity and inclusion. It underscores the strategic importance of resilient and sovereign infrastructure to reduce risk, build customer trust, and optimize performance.
Eligible applicants are startups incorporated less than eight years ago with fewer than 100 employees. Participants will gain visibility, mentorship, and support to accelerate solutions that can create meaningful change for society and the environment.
