The Nexture is currently accepting applications to support ingredient startups in developing innovative solutions that drive the evolution of the food and beverage industry.
The focus areas include added-value functional proteins and ingredients, with special attention to Bakery Evolution technologies such as freshness and softness enzymes and advanced gluten-related solutions, Oils & Texturization innovations including palm oil replacements, laminated fats, and novel lipid structuring, Alternative Carbs & Proteins like fiber enrichment solutions, highly digestible proteins, sugar reduction solutions, cost-effective bulking agents, and high-performance proteins and fibers for emulsifying, gelling, and texturizing. Nutrition-focused solutions for metabolic health, microbiome support, and healthy ageing using only food-grade ingredients, and Future Proofing innovations such as cocoa replacements and new natural preservatives including bioactive peptides and potassium sorbate alternatives are also sought.
Generate’s programs run for 12–18 months and are designed to cover collaboration needs from both startups and industry partners. The hub provides access to product application opportunities, cutting-edge facilities, technical expertise, and commercial support to help startups succeed in the market.
Startups with breakthrough ideas that have the potential to reshape the ingredients industry and contribute to the evolution of the food ecosystem are encouraged to apply.
