The Chelmsley Wood Pride in Place Get Talking Fund is requesting applications to support community-led activities and events that strengthen engagement and shape local priorities in Chelmsley Wood.
The focus areas of the fund include community-led development, shared ownership of local programmes, community participation, building trust and relationships, strengthening local networks, and increasing engagement in shaping local priorities and plans.
The fund supports activities and events delivered within the Chelmsley Wood area that contribute to the Pride in Place Programme and reflect community-led priorities.
The aim of the fund is to promote and enable a shared ownership approach to the programme, build on existing trust and relationships among local groups, and increase meaningful community engagement in shaping local priorities and plans.
Funding is available for community activities and events, with a total fund value of £100,000. Individual organisations can apply for up to £2,000, while partnerships of two or more organisations can apply for up to £10,000, with a lead organisation. Awards will reflect the scale and depth of partnership activity.
Eligible applicants must have a strong local connection to Chelmsley Wood, demonstrated by at least two years of continuous delivery in the area. Applicants must be registered charities, constituted community groups, companies limited by guarantee with charitable aims, community interest companies, co-operatives, registered community benefit societies, registered industrial and provident societies, or social enterprises. Organisations must have an annual income of £1 million or less and maintain reserves in line with Charity Commission guidelines.
