The focus areas of the fund include promoting health and wellbeing, inclusion and diversity, community cohesion, reducing social isolation, building social networks, raising aspirations, learning opportunities for all ages, environmental education, sustainability awareness, resource efficiency, recycling, reuse of materials, wildlife protection, and habitat creation.
The fund is part of IM Properties’ Sustainable Future Framework and supports projects that contribute to positive change for people, place, and planet within local communities.
Projects supported under the people priority aim to promote positive change through health, wellbeing, and inclusive community development.
Projects under the place priority focus on strengthening communities by encouraging cohesion, reducing isolation, building networks, and improving learning opportunities for children, young people, adults, and families.
Projects under the planet priority support environmental initiatives that promote sustainability education, encourage waste reduction, recycling and reuse, and enhance natural habitats and biodiversity.
Funding is available between £2,000 and £5,000 and must be spent within 12 months of award. Eligible projects must be delivered within specific areas of Stratford, including Bishopton, Hathaway, Shottery, Avenue, Welcombe, Guildhall & Bridgetown, Tiddington, Orchard Hill, Darlow, and Clopton.
Eligible applicants include registered charities, constituted community groups, companies limited by guarantee with charitable aims, community interest groups, co-operatives such as community benefit societies and industrial and provident societies, and social enterprises.
