The Vinnova is inviting grant applications to support research and development activities aimed at minimizing the climate and environmental impact from the production and disposal of vehicles.
The offer supports research and development activities within the product, people, and production system focus areas, including design for circularity, climate-neutral manufacturing, work environment improvements, competence development, and cognitive and physical support.
Funding is available through the FFI Cirkularitet sub-programme as part of the Vehicle Strategic research and innovation (FFI) collaboration. Projects can be pre-studies lasting 6 to 9 months with a maximum funding of SEK 500,000 or full-scale projects lasting up to 4 years.
Applicants are required to provide co-financing from the business community of at least 25 percent of the total project budget. The total grant budget for this call for proposals is approximately SEK 60 million.
Eligible applicants include research organizations, companies, and public or non-profit organizations, and all projects must involve at least two collaborating parties.
