The Climate Finance Accelerator is now accepting applications to support low-carbon entrepreneurs and project developers to strengthen their investment readiness and connect with investors to scale climate solutions.
The program focuses on climate mitigation solutions that achieve measurable greenhouse gas reductions, prioritize sectors including energy transition, electric mobility, and sustainable cooling, and deliver positive environmental and social outcomes while integrating ESG considerations, gender equality, disability inclusion, and broader social inclusion. CFA supports investor readiness, capital-raising strategies, credibility, networking, visibility, and stronger climate-impact narratives.
The CFA is a practical, deal-oriented program designed to help businesses and projects align with investor requirements, prepare compelling investment materials, navigate policy and regulatory issues, and engage with financiers confidently. It provides tailored coaching, best-practice insights, and access to curated networking opportunities with investors, public and institutional partners, corporates, peers, and other market actors.
Participants gain improved visibility and credibility in the climate finance ecosystem, with additional exposure through CFA events, website features, and social media highlights. The program also helps businesses and projects communicate their environmental and social impacts, aligning with national climate ambitions and highlighting co-benefits such as poverty reduction, nature protection, and social inclusion.
Eligible businesses and projects must have a measurable climate impact, a minimum financing need of USD 5 million, completed feasibility studies, and a viable business model capable of generating risk-adjusted returns. Participants must operate responsibly, avoid excluded activities, and demonstrate or commit to meaningful positive environmental and social outcomes.
