The Climate Finance Accelerator is inviting grant applications to support low-carbon entrepreneurs and projects in preparing for investment and connecting with the investors who can help them grow.
The program focuses on strengthening investment readiness, building networks across the climate finance ecosystem, increasing visibility and credibility, enhancing ESG and climate-impact communication, and supporting projects that achieve measurable climate outcomes, generate risk-adjusted returns, operate in priority sectors such as energy, agriculture, waste, transport, industrial processes, and forestry, and demonstrate positive social and environmental impacts.
The CFA helps climate mitigation businesses improve their investment cases, sharpen capital-raising strategies, and engage lenders and investors with confidence. Projects typically require at least USD 3 million in financing, with some flexibility for early-stage or sector-specific needs.
Participants gain networking opportunities with investors, public and institutional partners, corporates, and peers, fostering long-term collaborations and partnerships. The program also raises the visibility and credibility of participants through events, website features, and social media exposure.
CFA support includes guidance on communicating ESG and climate impacts, aligning projects with national climate goals, and highlighting co-benefits such as poverty reduction, gender equality, social inclusion, and biodiversity protection.
Eligible projects must demonstrate measurable climate impact, completed feasibility studies, viable business models, sectoral relevance, and positive environmental and social outcomes while adhering to responsible business practices.
