Early-stage startups founded in Austria with a working MVP or prototype can apply for the Startup World Cup Austria 2026, a premier competition offering funding, mentorship, and global exposure.
The Startup World Cup, hosted by Pegasus Tech Ventures, is the largest startup competition worldwide, engaging more than 70 countries annually. In Austria, the finals will take place on 18 May 2026 as part of ViennaUp!, offering participants an opportunity to win a $1 million investment from Pegasus Tech Ventures, pitch at the world finals in Silicon Valley, and gain individual mentoring and coaching support from WKÖ AußenwirtschaftsCenter San Francisco.
Finalists will also have access to investor connections, one-on-one meetings, a four-hour finance workshop from MINTED to optimize funding strategies, a €1,500 travel voucher to Silicon Valley, legal support worth €5,000 from 42law, a free startup bank account and Startrampe access at Sparkasse Oberösterreich, and use of the Infineon Hub for events and community engagement.
This competition goes beyond pitching—participants gain mentorship, strategic guidance, and access to a global network of investors, enabling Austrian startups to scale and succeed on the international stage.
