Deadline Date: March 11, 2026
The Climate Finance Accelerator is now accepting applications to support businesses and projects seeking funding by providing tailored investor engagement, coaching, and networking opportunities to drive measurable climate impact.
The CFA focuses on projects and businesses that deliver measurable climate outcomes, have a minimum financing need of USD 1 million, and operate with a commercial model capable of generating attractive, risk-adjusted returns. Priority sectors include clean and distributed energy, sustainable transport and mobility, climate-smart agriculture and agro-processing, green manufacturing and industrial decarbonisation, digital climate solutions, carbon markets and MRV systems, sustainable land use, forestry, and ecosystem restoration, circular economy and waste management, and blue economy and coastal resilience. Applicants must demonstrate positive environmental and social impacts or a genuine commitment to integrating gender equality, disability, and broader social inclusion, and must not engage in activities listed in the CFA exclusion list.
The CFA provides curated opportunities for participants to network with commercial and concessional investors, nationally, regionally, and internationally, enabling meaningful interactions with relevant investor groups. Participants also receive tailored investor-led coaching and best-practice insights on business model robustness, risk mitigation, clarity of funding requests, and capital-raising strategy.
In addition to investor engagement, participants gain access to broader networking across the climate finance ecosystem, connecting with public and institutional partners, corporates, cross-country peers, and other stakeholders within and beyond their domestic markets.
