The focus areas of the programme include innovation in animal health and production, startup development support, mentorship and guidance, technology validation, market access and growth support, legal and administrative assistance, networking and ecosystem access, branding and promotional support, and regulatory advisory services.
SHITIJ 2.0 is a two-month virtual incubation programme aimed at helping participants develop and refine innovative ideas in the animal health and production sector. It is designed to support early-stage innovators in turning concepts into scalable startup ventures.
Participants receive structured mentorship and guidance through one-on-one mentoring sessions and training support. The programme also assists with technology validation, market access, and business growth strategies to strengthen startup development.
Additional support includes legal and administrative assistance, networking opportunities within the ecosystem, branding and promotional support, and regulatory advisory services to help participants navigate early-stage business challenges.
Eligible applicants include students, researchers, innovators, startups, entrepreneurs, veterinarians, MSMEs, and FPOs/FPCs interested in building solutions in the animal health and production sector.
