Deadline: August 31, 2026
The UnLtd Awards provide funding and support to passionate social entrepreneurs who are committed to creating meaningful social impact in the UK.
The focus areas of the Awards include social venture development, social venture costs, social entrepreneur living costs, business mentoring, workshop series, legal adviser consultancy, financial literacy resources, peer community support, and tailored business guidance.
The Awards are designed for individuals with social venture ideas as well as entrepreneurs who are already creating positive social impact and are looking to develop their ventures further. Funding is combined with practical support to help participants strengthen and grow their initiatives.
Applicants can explore different award options based on the stage of their venture. The eligibility checker helps applicants identify the most suitable Award and programme by considering factors such as the age of the social venture, trading history, location, and area of focus.
The Starting Up Award is available through the Millennium Awards Trust and the Funding Futures Programme, offering funding of up to £8,000 for social venture costs. In addition to funding, recipients receive support from a support manager, workshop series, business mentoring, and legal adviser consultancy. The Funding Futures Programme also includes financial literacy resources and access to a peer community.
The Scaling Up Award is available through both the Millennium Awards Trust and the Funding Futures Programme, providing up to £18,000. The funding can be used for social venture costs and social entrepreneur living costs. Award recipients also receive tailored business support, mentoring, workshop sessions, legal adviser consultancy, and, under the Funding Futures Programme, financial literacy resources and peer community support.
Applicants are encouraged to review the eligibility criteria, equity commitments, award budget guidelines, and application assistance resources before completing the eligibility checker and submitting an application.
