The Clean Air Fund is requesting Expressions of Interest to support public affairs initiatives for improved air quality regulation in the European Union.
The focus areas, include strategic public affairs support, air quality policy processes, implementation of the revised Ambient Air Quality Directive (AAQD), policy monitoring, political intelligence, stakeholder engagement support, strategic advice, campaign coordination, preparation of written briefings and materials, EU public affairs expertise, and coverage across priority countries.
The selected service provider will support the Clean Air Fund in advancing public affairs activities related to air quality policy at both the European Union and Member State levels. The assignment will focus particularly on the implementation of the revised Ambient Air Quality Directive while providing strategic guidance and support across relevant policy processes.
Applicants are expected to demonstrate strong expertise in EU public affairs and the ability to provide coverage across priority countries either through direct capacity or trusted partner networks.
Expressions of Interest must not exceed three pages, excluding the company profile, CVs, and supporting annexes. Proposals should include the technical approach and methodology, relevant experience with previous clients including NGOs, details of the proposed team, language capacity, country coverage, and a high-level budget estimate with a breakdown of activities and costs for both EU-level policy advisory and national work. Applicants should also provide a mapping of policy files relevant to air quality at both the EU and Member State levels, their current status, and an overview of expected developments over the next 12 months.
