Funding is available from a minimum of £2,500 up to £50,000, with each grant covering up to 50% of eligible project costs. Support is also available for specialist revenue expenditure associated with capital investment, including technical training related to new equipment, machinery installation and commissioning, specialist software required to operate new equipment, and charges related to the delivery of capital equipment.
The grant cannot be used for staff costs, taxes, bank charges, contingency costs, expenses incurred before grant approval, grant application fees, feasibility studies, membership fees, working capital, commercial vans or general vehicles, routine repairs and maintenance, replacement of standard office furniture or equipment, renewable energy installations, statutory compliance costs, VAT for VAT-registered businesses, cash purchases, leased or financed items, or the purchase of land or property.
The grant is open to start-up businesses, micro businesses, and small and medium-sized enterprises with fewer than 250 employees that have a registered business address in Ceredigion.
