The CELTIC-NEXT Call for Projects invites international research and development projects focused on innovative products, processes, or services with the goal of commercialisation.
The focus areas of this call include international cooperation, research and development, innovative products, processes and services, commercialisation, civilian-purpose projects, and collaboration between independent legal entities across Eureka countries.
The call is open to participants from Austria, Belgium (Flanders and Wallonia), Canada, Chile, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Türkiye, and the United Kingdom.
Funding availability and conditions vary by participating country. The Czech Republic offers grants of up to 12,000,000 Czech korunas, with projects limited to a maximum duration of 36 months. Lithuania and South Africa provide grants of up to €300,000 per project.
South Korea provides funding for research and development costs for startups, small companies, large companies, research organisations, and universities, with grants of up to 500 million South Korean won per year per project for up to three years.
Spain provides separate funding options, including loans and grants for eligible costs, with project durations ranging from one to three years. Funding conditions include support for eligible expenses such as depreciation, consumables, staff, external collaboration, and overheads.
Applicants must meet several eligibility requirements. Projects must represent international cooperation through a specific project, focus on researching or developing an innovative product, process, or service intended for commercialisation, and have a civilian purpose.
Consortia must include at least two independent legal entities from a minimum of two Eureka countries. No single organisation or country can account for more than 70% of the project budget.
