The Innovation Voucher with Deductible is inviting applications to support businesses in transforming innovative ideas into practical development projects through research support.
The focus areas and objectives of this program include research-based idea studies, innovation development, preparatory work for research and development projects, technological problem-solving, development of novel algorithms and methods, patentable developments, prototype development support, technical innovation management, proof-of-concept activities, and collaboration between businesses and research institutions.
The Innovation Voucher funding program is open to different technologies and research topics. It enables eligible organizations to work with research institutions and access specialized scientific services that support innovation and business development.
Funding can be used for research-based idea studies, including concept development, preliminary studies, and research related to the implementation of innovative ideas. The program also supports preparatory work for research, development, and innovation projects, including analyses that contribute to the completion and improvement of technical solutions.
Additional eligible activities include the development of new algorithms and methods, preparation and initiation of patentable developments, and scientific support for prototype development through functional testing and optimization activities. Concepts for technical innovation management and proof-of-concept activities are also supported.
The Innovation Voucher has a value of up to 10,000 euros and can be used to finance eligible services provided by non-university research institutions, universities of applied sciences, and universities.
Applications may be submitted by small and medium-sized enterprises and economically active associations with a business location in Austria. Applications must include an offer from the research institution that will provide the services for the proposed project.
The program aims to strengthen collaboration between businesses and research institutions while supporting innovation, research, and development activities across a wide range of sectors and technologies.
