The Ideas!Reich programme promotes the development of innovative business ideas by providing funding support to companies aiming to transform early-stage concepts into market-ready digital or sustainable products.
The focus area are Innovation promotion, development of new products and services, digital transformation, sustainable business models, prototype development, industrial design, feasibility studies, creative industry integration, and SME innovation capacity building.
The Ideas!Reich programme supports businesses that actively shape innovation through structured funding for the development and implementation of new ideas. It is designed to help transform early entrepreneurial concepts into viable market solutions with a strong focus on digital and sustainable innovation.
The programme offers two main funding pathways, Ideas!Reich XS and Ideas!Reich XL, tailored to different project sizes. The XS module supports smaller innovation activities such as prototype development, business model creation, certification for new sectors, and research-related outputs, with funding support covering a significant portion of eligible costs.
The Ideas!Reich programme supports companies in turning early-stage ideas into practical, market-ready innovations through structured funding mechanisms. It encourages forward-thinking businesses to develop digital and sustainable solutions that respond to emerging market needs.
The programme is delivered through different funding modules, including Ideas!Reich XS and Ideas!Reich XL, which support smaller and larger innovation projects respectively. These modules help cover costs related to prototype development, business model innovation, product testing, and market introduction activities.
In addition, a special funding stream supports SMEs in collaborating with the creative industries to enhance innovation through design, digital tools, and emerging technologies. This helps businesses strengthen both functionality and user experience in their solutions.
Funding support can reach up to €75,000 under the Ideas!Reich XL module, while smaller projects under the XS module may receive up to €14,000 with funding rates of up to 70 percent of eligible project costs. Larger projects typically receive up to 50 percent co-funding, depending on the project type and eligibility criteria.
