She Loves Tech Global Competition 2024

Competition Process

  • Activation and Screening
    • Applications will be evaluated by the global screening team and successful startups in each market will be shortlisted. She Loves Tech focuses on a variety of criteria including market opportunity, traction, scalability and growth potential, innovation and creativity as well as the calibre of founder and team.
  • Regional Mentoring and Semifinal
    • A curated mentoring session will be available for the semifinalists to prepare them for the Regional Competition. Depending on the location, semifinals can be conducted online, offline or in a hybrid format. The winner of each semifinal will be invited to join the Global Final.
  • Selection
    • Shortlisted startups will present their business in front of a local judging panel in their respective market. The top startups will be invited to pitch at one of the 10 Regional Semifinals.
  • Global Bootcamp and Final
    • Global finalists fly to Singapore to meet their peers and attend the She Loves Tech Global Competition – Asia’s global flagship for women and technology! Finalists will participate in a week-long bootcamp featuring capacity building workshops, exciting panel discussions and various networking opportunities before they take the stage to showcase their business in front of a curated audience of investors and corporates.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Early Stage Startup
    • Technology startup with at least a minimum viable product (past conceptual stage) with less than US$5M external funding raised.
  • Gender Lens
    • Technology startup fulfilling one of the following gender lens:
      • Female founder
      • Majority female users
      • Majority female consumers
      • Technology impacting women positively
  • The Competition is open to startups from any part of the world. However, each startup may only apply for ONE (1) region considering the country where they reside, work or have operations in. Shortliste startups will be funneled into the most suitable/ most relevant target market to participate in the selection of regional semifinals.
  • Any employee of the company may submit the application to the competition on behalf of the company’s founder, however, only ONE of the founders must pitch at the competition.
