The Heyfunding Grant, created in collaboration with Antler, invites entrepreneurs, startups, and established companies in Denmark to apply for a DKK 25,000 grant to support the realization of innovative business ideas, offering financial assistance, exposure, and access to expert networks.
Focus Areas: Innovation: The company develops innovative solutions that do not already exist on the market. Potential: The company must have the potential to become “the next big thing.” Execution: The applicant must demonstrate that the team can realize the planned strategy.
The Heyfunding Grant aims to support entrepreneurship across Denmark by providing financial support and increasing visibility within the startup ecosystem. Heyfunding serves as a matchmaking platform for startups seeking capital and risk-averse investors, helping entrepreneurs gain an overview of opportunities and access funding from business angels and investors. Antler, a global venture capital firm, supports founders from day zero, assisting in finding co-founders, validating ideas, and scaling startups from pre-seed to Series C.
Eligible applicants include future entrepreneurs preparing to launch their ideas, scalable startups with measurable market results, and established companies exploring new business areas or spin-offs. Applications are submitted through Heyfunding.dk by creating a startup profile and uploading a pitch deck or business plan in Danish or English. If technical issues arise, applications can be sent directly via email. All applicants also enter Heyfunding’s selection process for expanded investor matchmaking, providing introductions to relevant business angels and investors. Reapplying is permitted, with preference given to applicants demonstrating progress or achieved milestones since previous submissions.
The grant consists of a DKK 25,000 cash award, free exposure in Heyfunding’s communication channels, access to investor matchmaking, a seal of approval from ecosystem experts, and sparring sessions with Antler professionals. Applications are assessed primarily on innovation, potential, and execution, and responses are provided within 14 days of the application deadline, with winners announced on Heyfunding.dk and via newsletters and social media channels.
The selection committee includes industry professionals and investors, ensuring that applications are reviewed by experienced evaluators. All submissions are treated confidentially, though nominated applications may be shared with committee members.
