Deadline: January 15, 2026
The International Market Entry Funding provides financial support to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Vienna that aim to expand their business into new foreign markets.
The focus is on projects that promote employment in Vienna. The International Market Entry Funding assists in covering costs for personnel, travel, the acquisition of licenses and concessions which allow you to operate abroad, or other service costs. Eligible costs include personnel costs, travel expenses, intangible investment costs such as licenses or concessions, and costs incurred as a result of your market entry abroad.
This funding offers up to 50,000 euros per project with a funding rate of 50% for all companies. The minimum project value must be 20,000 euros, and the maximum project duration is two years. Existing SMEs headquartered in Vienna from all business sectors can apply. Additionally, there is a women’s bonus of 5,000 euros available if the development proposal is managed by a woman with the necessary qualifications. Up to 50% of the awarded funding amount can be paid upfront.
Applications require a completed online funding form along with an application confirmation, a de minimis declaration, and the latest annual financial statements or income statement. An independent jury will then assess the submission and recommend funding based on eligibility and merit.
