Orange Corners South Sudan aims to support young entrepreneurs in starting and growing their businesses.
The focus is on capacity and skill development training sessions and coaching, masterclasses, business development services and mentoring, personalised business advice, events and networking, workspace in incubation hub, boot camp and graduation events.
This initiative, launched by the Kingdom of the Netherlands, is designed to strengthen the startup and entrepreneurial ecosystem in South Sudan by offering extensive support to local entrepreneurs. Participants benefit from in-depth training that enhances their entrepreneurial skills and provides tailored coaching to address their specific business challenges. The programme’s masterclasses conducted by industry experts serve as key learning platforms, giving entrepreneurs valuable insights into business strategies and market practices.
Entrepreneurs also receive personalised advisory sessions to address their unique business needs, coupled with access to continuous mentoring from experienced professionals. This ensures they develop practical approaches to decision-making, problem-solving, and business growth. Networking opportunities within the programme create linkages among peers and industry stakeholders, encouraging collaboration and exposing participants to a wider entrepreneurial community.
Selected entrepreneurs benefit further from access to workspaces in a dedicated incubation hub, which fosters community building and collaboration. The programme also organizes intensive boot camps to accelerate learning and concludes with graduation ceremonies that celebrate achievements and highlight entrepreneurial progress.
Applications are open to South Sudanese entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 35, who are committed to attending the six-month incubation programme in Juba. The selection process includes an online application, interviews, and participation in a two-day boot camp before the full programme begins. Participation is free, supported by the Kingdom of the Netherlands and additional private partners, and is welcoming to both for-profit and not-for-profit early-stage enterprises across the country. Female entrepreneurs are highly encouraged to apply.
