The L’Oréal Groupe is inviting applications from startups, SMEs, and innovative companies worldwide to participate in its flagship sustainable innovation program, L’AcceleratOR, aimed at piloting and scaling breakthrough solutions for a more sustainable beauty industry.
The program focuses on low carbon, climate‑smart technologies, water resilience solutions, nature‑based solutions, alternative ingredients and materials, eliminating fossil plastic use and plastic waste, circularity and resource management, and sustainable and inclusive business models.
L’AcceleratOR leverages L’Oréal’s culture of innovation and its partnership with the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) Canopy experts to scout, identify, and support deployment-ready innovations at TRL 7 or higher. Selected applicants will join a 12‑month cohort-based program, receiving guidance to pilot projects and scale their solutions within L’Oréal’s ecosystem.
CISL’s network of over 40,000 sustainability professionals will provide technical and business expertise, helping participants implement impactful solutions while aligning with L’Oréal’s sustainability transformation goals. The program aims to address critical gaps in sustainable technologies and practices across the beauty industry.
