The AYuTe Africa Challenge Nigeria, is requesting applicaions to support early- and growth-stage youth-led agritech enterprises with innovative solutions that positively impact smallholder farmers at scale.
The programme focuses on youth entrepreneurship, agritech innovation, technology-driven agricultural solutions, and scaling enterprises that address social problems while being technically feasible, economically sound, and environmentally smart.
The challenge will run for three months, culminating in cash prize awards totaling $40,000 for the top three winners, with $20,000 for the winner, $12,000 for the first runner-up, and $8,000 for the second runner-up.
Eligible applicants must be Nigerian nationals aged 18–35, founders or co-founders of the enterprise they represent, with innovative ideas that are implementable, impactful, and sustainable, and must produce financial statements for their venture while demonstrating potential for collaboration with other stakeholders.
The AYuTe Africa Challenge provides a platform for youth agripreneurs to gain recognition, grow their enterprises, and receive mentorship, funding, and support to scale their solutions for wider adoption in Nigeria’s agricultural sector.
