TIDES TBI is the flagship program of NSTEDB, DST to promote technology based startup ideas.
Objectives
- To nucleate & nurture innovation-driven technology-based startup ideas at the academic campus
- To provide a platform for speedy commercialization of technologies developed by the host institution or by any academic/technical/R&D institution or by an individual.
- To build a vibrant startup ecosystem, by establishing a network between startups, academia, financial institutions, industries and other relevant stakeholders.

Eligibility Criteria
- Both individuals and registered startups can apply however, if selected, the individuals have to register a company within 3 months of the selection.
- Any Indian citizen, sole or with a team, can apply for the program.
- If applying through legal entities, applying entities should fall within the definition of Startup as given by Startup India
- The founders are expected to show full commitment towards the startup idea during the incubation program.
