Deadline Date: June 10, 2026
The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition has announced its Media House Opportunity to support a nutrition-focused campaign aimed at increasing vegetable consumption and improving dietary habits among low-income households in Kenya.
The focus of this opportunity includes the development of innovative media-first communication strategies, integrated media planning across television, radio, and digital platforms, data-driven audience targeting and reach analysis, bulk and cost-efficient media buying solutions, direct media placement support, campaign monitoring and reporting systems, and comprehensive account management for sustained media execution.
The selected media partner is expected to design and implement a multi-channel media approach that amplifies campaign messaging on vegetable consumption while ensuring optimal reach across defined target audiences in urban and peri-urban regions. Emphasis is placed on evidence-based planning, demographic alignment, and regional coverage across key Kenyan counties including Nairobi, Nakuru, Machakos, Mombasa, Kilifi, and Kiambu. The campaign prioritizes cost efficiency alongside strong audience engagement and measurable impact outcomes.
The initiative is funded with a total budget of USD 355,000 (tax inclusive), subject to final approval prior to implementation. The opportunity is open to media houses with national or regional presence whose audio-visual platforms collectively reach at least 2.5 million people monthly, and whose reach is independently verified through third-party monitoring systems. Eligibility further requires demonstrated operational presence in at least one of the priority counties and the capacity to deliver integrated media solutions across multiple channels.
