The Innovate UK is seeking grant applications to support farmers, growers, and foresters in England to engage external facilitators for developing strong applications for Full ADOPT Grants focused on on-farm innovation.
The focus areas of this opportunity include on-farm trials and experiments, agricultural innovation, horticulture development, and agro-forestry practices, with an emphasis on improving productivity, resilience, sustainability, and progress toward net zero farming through practical solutions tested in real farming conditions.
The grant aims to provide financial support of £2,500 to engage an external Project Facilitator, improve the quality of Full ADOPT Grant applications, make funding more accessible to a wider range of applicants, and strengthen the skills and capacity of the farming ecosystem to engage with innovation funding.
The initiative is designed to support projects that address key on-farm or post-farmgate challenges and demonstrate practical outcomes under real conditions. Applicants are required to work with a facilitator registered in the Innovate UK Business Connect database to develop and submit eligible applications for the Full ADOPT Grant competition.
The funding is intended to ensure that farmers and land managers can effectively design and submit high-quality proposals that contribute to long-term agricultural innovation and sustainability.
