The Greenovator Incubation Foundation (GIF), NIT Srinagar has opened applications for Cohort 3.0 under the DST-iTBI Ignition Grant supported through the DST NIDHI Scheme to support science and technology-based ideas with strong commercialization potential in India.
The focus areas, objectives, priorities, and themes include healthcare and MedTech, GreenTech and CleanTech, artificial intelligence, deep tech, sustainability, emerging technologies, agriculture and horticulture technologies, smart mobility solutions, prototype development, commercialization potential, startup incubation, mentorship and technical guidance, co-working space and lab facilities, networking opportunities, and market validation assistance.
The program aims to support early-stage innovators and idea generators in transforming promising ideas into prototypes and scalable startups. Selected applicants can receive prototype grant support of up to ₹10 lakhs to help develop and validate their innovative solutions.
Through the DST-ITBI Ignition Grant under the NIDHI Scheme, participants will gain access to mentorship and technical guidance from experts, along with infrastructure support for prototype development. The incubation support also includes co-working space, laboratory facilities, networking opportunities, and market validation assistance.
The application process consists of application submission, shortlisting, pitching, panel evaluation, and grant award stages. The initiative is designed to help innovators build impactful ventures and convert their ideas into real-world businesses with commercialization potential.
The program encourages applications from innovators working on science and technology-driven solutions capable of addressing real-world challenges across multiple sectors and emerging technology domains.
