The Breva™ Thrive Grant Program provides catalytic, non-dilutive funding to early-stage and growing U.S. small businesses that create positive and measurable impact within their communities.
The programme focuses on supporting early-stage and growing small businesses, providing catalytic non-dilutive funding, encouraging community impact, promoting measurable social and economic benefits, supporting businesses serving historically underserved populations through a race- and gender-neutral selection process, and recognising applicants through a merit-based, skill-focused competition.
The programme awards one grant recipient each calendar quarter. Each selected business receives a grant of USD $5,000 to support its growth and community impact. Businesses may receive only one grant per calendar year, and no cash-equivalent or substitute for the grant is permitted except at Breva’s discretion. Grant recipients are selected based on the quality of their applications rather than by chance.
The programme welcomes applications from all eligible businesses and encourages submissions from businesses whose work benefits historically underserved populations. However, all applications are evaluated through a race- and gender-neutral selection process to ensure recipients are chosen solely on merit.
Eligible applicants must represent a for-profit business that is legally established and in good standing in any U.S. state, the District of Columbia, or a U.S. territory. The business must have its principal place of business in the United States, and all activities supported by the grant must also take place within the United States.
The individual submitting the application must be a legal resident of one of the fifty United States, the District of Columbia, or a U.S. territory and must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application. The applicant must be an owner, officer, or another authorised decision-maker with the authority to submit the application and, if selected, sign the Grant Agreement on behalf of the business.
