Do you want to advance climate neutrality in Vienna? Does your idea reduce greenhouse gases or promote energy efficiency? Do you develop sustainable products or use environmentally friendly machinery? The Vienna Planet Fund supports companies and founders from all over the world in implementing climate-friendly projects in Vienna.
Funding Information
- Maximum funding amount per project: 250,000 euros per project.
- Minimum project size: 30,000 euros per project.
- Women’s bonus: €10,000, start-up bonus: €5,000. A women’s bonus is awarded if the project is demonstrably led by a qualified woman. If a company is founded as part of the project, they pay a start-up bonus.
- Duration: 2 years.
Eligible Activities
- They support your efforts toward climate neutrality in Vienna. Use the Vienna Planet Fund to:
- Investments: Purchase of machinery and technical equipment, construction measures, licenses and intellectual property rights
- Personnel costs: for the implementation of the project: training and qualification measures for your project staff
- Services: Consulting and development services for the implementation of your project.
Eligibility Criteria
- Austrian and international companies implementing their climate projects in Vienna. Existing small, medium, and large enterprises, as well as startups in Vienna.
- They also support universities, universities of applied sciences, associations, and non-university research institutions through collaborative funding applications.
Application Requirements
- A fully completed online funding application, an application confirmation and, in addition, a de minimis declaration, a final annual financial statement or an income and expenditure statement.
