The Canadian Black Standard, in partnership with RBC, is awarding grants to three black women-owned businesses or entrepreneurs in Canada.
Goal
- Their goal is to grow The Standard community of Black women marketers across Canada, establishing deeper connections and impactful relationships.
Funding Information
- Grant amount: Three $1,500 grants.
Uses of the Fund
- To support emerging Black women talent, funds must be designated towards the re-investment and development of the business.
Eligibility Criteria
- To be eligible, Rising Star Award candidates/recipients must be:
- Identify as Black woman
- Canadian citizen/permanent resident
- Age 18 – 29 years
- Is the registered founder/owner of a marketing-focused business
- Have a social media presence (winners are required to post, share & communicate The Standard, RBC and this Rising Star award)
- Be in business for less than 5 years
