Accelerate VI offers up to seven (7) startups led by ambitious entrepreneurs from around the world the opportunity to gain access to community, mentorship, workspace, capital, international development resources, and more in the US Virgin Islands. Eligibility Criteria
- Business is registered, or willing to be registered, in the US Virgin Islands
- Past the idea stage: Have a MVP (Minimum Viable Product), beta, or launched
- Have the ability to scale into national/global markets
- Technology or technology-enabled company (No Professional Services e.g., Consulting)
- Raised or received less than $2,000,000 in total investment (e.g., equity, convertible notes, government grants, academic grants)
- Commitment to Accelerate VI programming attendance policy
Selection Criteria
- Selection to the program is a multi-step process that includes an application review and a 30-minute panel interview with the AVI Program Managers. Final selection is made by the AVI Program Managers, AVI Program Director, and the executive team of the University of the Virgin Islands Research and Technology Park (RTPark).

- Traction and Growth Potential
- Quality of Team
- Impact and Engagement to the US Virgin Islands
- Program Eligibility and Fit
