The R2C Venture Builder Program is an initiative of the Kenya National Innovation Agency. The program is committed to accelerating the commercialization of Research-based ventures in Kenya, through tailored support, business leadership, and ecosystem engagement.

Program Details 

• Three in-person visits to the venture’s location.

Funding Information

• Duration: 6 months (June – December 2025)
• Co-Founders will receive a monthly stipend of USD 800

What You’ll Do as a Co-Founder?

• You will work closely with your matched venture to provide support in:
  • Developing and executing go-to-market strategies
  • Fundraising and investor engagement
  • Business development and partnership sourcing
  • Financial planning and pricing models
  • Pitch preparation and investment readiness
  • Operational planning and early-stage scaling
• You will report to the program’s Growth Catalyst and will:
  • Submit bi-monthly progress reports
  • Participate in regular check-in calls and milestone reviews
  • Contribute to lessons learned and case study documentation
