The R2C Venture Builder Program is matching 3 research-driven startups with hands-on Co-Founders who can help shape their business strategy, scale operations, and guide them to investment readiness.
The R2C Venture Builder Program is an initiative of the Kenya National Innovation Agency. The program is committed to accelerating the commercialization of Research-based ventures in Kenya, through tailored support, business leadership, and ecosystem engagement.
Program Details
- Three in-person visits to the venture’s location.
Funding Information
- Duration: 6 months (June – December 2025)
- Co-Founders will receive a monthly stipend of USD 800
What You’ll Do as a Co-Founder?
- You will work closely with your matched venture to provide support in:
- Developing and executing go-to-market strategies
- Fundraising and investor engagement
- Business development and partnership sourcing
- Financial planning and pricing models
- Pitch preparation and investment readiness
- Operational planning and early-stage scaling
- You will report to the program’s Growth Catalyst and will:
- Submit bi-monthly progress reports
- Participate in regular check-in calls and milestone reviews
- Contribute to lessons learned and case study documentation
