The FNB Market Masters Programme is an 18-month journey designed for youth-owned businesses ready to grow, unlock new markets, and access expert support. With two powerful phases — market and investment readiness, followed by financial readiness — the programme equips you with the tools, mentorship, and resources to scale.
Purpose
- By the end of the programme, participants will have a stronger understanding of how to reach new customers, grow their businesses, and increase their competitiveness. They will leave with a clear plan and the tools necessary to take their businesses further and succeed.

- Market and investment readiness training and support
- Mentorship
- Media, marketing and brandbuilding interventions
- Peer-to-peer community and networking
- Business financial management
- Pitching coaching sessions
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a youth aged between 18 and 35 years old
- The applicant must have an existing business. The business must be at the establishment stage, ready to grow and show job growth potential
- Annual turnover of the business should range from R1 million to R5 million per annum
- The business should be 2 to 5 years in operation
- The business must be at least 51% blackowned and managed
- Applicant should be a South African citizen and the business should operate within the borders of South Africa
- Display a passion and the resilience needed for business
- A desire to grow and scale a profitable and sustainable business (not an NGO)
- The applicant must be working in the business on a full-time basis
