The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has announced the second edition of Farmer Producer Organisation (FPOs) Awards to recognize and encourage Farmer Producer Companies for their exemplary work.
Award Categories
- Best FPO Market Linkages: Evaluating the effectiveness of FPOs in providing access to alternative market channels through aggregation and support services.
- Best FPO Technology Development: Evaluating integration of technologies in production to optimize operations and enhance the effectiveness of farming practices.
- Best FPO Women Entrepreneurship: Evaluating degree to which women members actively engage in decision-making, leadership roles and entrepreneurship.
- Best FPO Value Addition & Branding: Evaluating adoption of value addition activities as business endeavours to enhance marketability and profitability.
Who can apply?
- Farmer Producer Companies registered under Companies Act between 1st April 2017 to 31st March 2024.
