The Cannes Neurons aim to determine the most innovative Artificial Intelligence projects having a positive impact on society or the planet and rethinking the standards among all the candidates.
The objective is to value the diversity of the projects realized in the field of Artificial Intelligence in order to reward and highlight the most audacious for a better world, the most original, and especially the most innovative.
The World AI Cannes Festival (WAICF) brings together the people and companies that are currently building the most game-changing and purposeful AI strategies on the planet.

Please note that only 15 projects per category will be accepted.
- Inclusive AI: AI designed for fairness and accessibility, addressing diverse needs and reducing biases.
- Sustainable AI: AI used for environmental sustainability, improving efficiency and reducing ecological impact.
- Creative AI: AI in arts, generating innovative art, music, and designs, and enhancing creativity.

Criteria
- The chosen finalist teams will be invited to pitch their ideas to the expert judging panel comprised of key decision makers of Company and external partners on final date.
- You will be asked to present and demonstrate your project before receiving questions directly from the panel.
- The Cannes Neurons are open to all companies, whatever their structure (startup, TP, SME, large account, NGO) that have conducted or are conducting innovative AI projects for the benefit of society and/or the planet and that necessarily meet the following criteria:
- Innovation
- Customer and/or consumer benefit, interest for the ecosystem and the sector
- Level of project maturity
- Economic performance
- Operational performance
- The members of the jury will give preference to application-based projects, rather than applications that focus solely on the description of an AI solution or technology.
