- The flagship award, recognising a leading and impactful example of procurement creating significant value for the business.
- Excellence can be defined as when procurement delivers tangible and measurable commercial impact through advanced spend management approaches.
- Entry Criteria
- Judges will be looking for entries that highlight elements of how procurement:
- Has contributed to overall business results in a quantifiable way
- Is a strategic business function with support of the executive committee
- Is a destination of choice for ambitious talent
- Enables scalable impact through function-led initiatives
- Is involved in strategic business decisions at an early stage
- Acts fairly and responsibly
- Judges will be looking for entries that highlight elements of how procurement:
- Eligibility
- Submissions are open exclusively to corporate procurement functions. Outlined initiatives must have been delivered and made an impact between December 2022 and June 2024.
- Asia Pacific Supplier Collaboration & Innovation Award
- Showcasing how procurement has worked with the supply base to foster product, service or process innovation.
- The supply base is a rich source of innovation, and procurement is perfectly positioned to orchestrate how the organisation can capture and leverage innovation.
- Entry Criteria
- Judges will be looking for entries that highlight elements of how procurement:
- Worked closely with a supplier or group of suppliers to develop innovative solution(s).
- Segmented and identified suppliers based on innovation potential.
- Developed and maintained a reputation for being a customer of choice within a given market.
- Had a meaningful impact on business results.
- Acted fairly and responsibly.
- Judges will be looking for entries that highlight elements of how procurement:
- Eligibility
- Entries are open to collaboration initiatives driven by corporate procurement functions. Submissions must focus on the partnership and collaboration between the corporate and one or more suppliers. Outlined initiatives must have been delivered and demonstrated an impact between December 2022 and June 2024.
- Asia Pacific Environmental & Social Impact Award
- Recognising the procurement function that is significantly reducing the environmental impact of the business through innovative and collaborative approaches across the business and supply base.
- Procurement has a huge opportunity to positively impact the environmental and social agenda due to the influence it wields over the supply base. Leaders in this space will demonstrate how they work upstream to drive environmental improvement or tackle other social issues, such as supporting local or underprivileged communities, or fighting child labour and modern slavery in the supply chain.
- Entry Criteria
- Judges will be looking for entries that highlight elements of how procurement has:
- Quantified (as much as possible) the scale of the challenge and the opportunity to address it.
- Worked with supplier(s) and other key stakeholders to improve environmental and/or social impact.
- Embedded environmental and/or social considerations into sourcing and category management processes.
- Exhibited tangible progress in tackling environmental and social issues.
- Taken a leading role internally to drive improved ESG performance.
- Judges will be looking for entries that highlight elements of how procurement has:
- Eligibility

- Asia Pacific Risk & Resilience Award
- Showcasing a procurement organisation that has helped the business to navigate unexpected events and volatile environments by using advanced techniques, processes and technology.
- Supply chains are a complex melting pot of risk, as an uncertain global business environment and turbulent geopolitical landscape provide challenges the likes of which procurement teams have rarely seen. Those purchasing functions that provide predictability, security of supply, rapid-response capabilities, and confidence to the executive committee will drive significant competitive advantage.

- Judges will be looking for entries that highlight elements of how procurement:
- Has mapped and segmented the supply base to an advanced level based on risk footprint.
- Worked cross-functionally to redesign approaches or products from a resilience perspective.
- Has addressed multiple facets of risk – whether it be cyber, ESG, logistical, reputational, geopolitical, etc.
- Introduced technology to help manage and mitigate risk.
- Worked with key suppliers to de-risk their exposure.
- Provided business-critical insight based on supply chain and supplier data.
- Judges will be looking for entries that highlight elements of how procurement:
- Eligibility
- Submissions are open exclusively to corporate procurement functions. Outlined initiatives must have been delivered and made an impact between December 2022 and June 2024.
- Asia Pacific Digital Impact Award
- Celebrating the procurement function that has driven significant positive impact through the implementation of a digital technology or data solution.
- Deploying technology for technology’s sake has repeatedly resulted in disappointing, expensive failures. But those procurement organisations that make full use of the data at their disposal to drive business insight or implement leading digital solutions can drive significant competitive advantage.
- Entry Criteria
- Judges will be looking for entries that highlight elements of how procurement:
- Has rolled out data or digital solutions based on true business need.
- Managed how users adopt the new approach to maximise efficacy.
- Has made the data that procurement has access to available for better decision-making.
- Has reduced complexity and/or improved speed of decision-making and agility.
- Delivered a rollout on time and within budget.
- Judges will be looking for entries that highlight elements of how procurement:
- Eligibility
- Submissions are open exclusively to corporate procurement functions. Entries should focus on the implementation of a specific digital technology or data solution, rather than a digital transformation. Outlined initiatives must have been delivered and made an impact between December 2022 and June 2024.
- Asia Pacific Procurement Team Award
- Recognising teams that share a clear purpose and are committed to excellence in procurement and driving business impact; yet foster a culture of openness, individual and collective growth, and trust.

- Celebrating the senior-most procurement leader in the Asia Pacific region who empowers their team, inspires progress for the function and is fixated on delivering sustainable and business-critical results for the organisation.
- The Asia Pacific CPO of the Year award recognises a great leader who is at the top of their game and is responsible for a high-performing team that delivers tangible business results. The Asia Pacific CPO of the Year award is restricted to senior-most executives in the region with strategic responsibility for their organisation’s procurement function.
- Entry Criteria
- Judges will be looking for entries that highlight elements of how the CPO:
- Built a high-performing team.
- Fostered a culture of excellence, trust, belonging and performance.
- Managed change and encouraged diversity.
- Helped improve the reputation of the function, both internally and with suppliers.
- Introduced innovative approaches and techniques that have advanced procurement.
- Judges will be looking for entries that highlight elements of how the CPO:
- Eligibility
- Submissions are open to the senior-most CPO of a corporate procurement function. Although the CPO’s leadership impact may have been a multi-year journey, the entry needs to focus on examples and success achieved between December 2022 and June 2024.
- Asia Pacific Solution Provider Award
- Recognising the solution provider that demonstrates the most impactful and valuable technology or service for procurement functions.
- Functions that partner with solution providers that provide a significant return on investment are the functions that progress faster. This award celebrates technology, consultancy or other procurement-services providers that have a clear value proposition and address a meaningful and tangible procurement challenge or opportunity.
- Entry Criteria
- Judges will be looking for entries that highlight elements of how the solution provider:
- Provides value for money and a strong return on investment.
- Addresses a real and significant challenge or opportunity faced by the procurement function.
- Has been developed with usability as a priority.
- Is future-proofed and able to fit within typical corporate environments.
- Can differentiate from competitors, has great customer service and positive client feedback
- Judges will be looking for entries that highlight elements of how the solution provider:
- Eligibility:
- Submissions are open to any company based in the Asia Pacific or the Middle East, (or submitted by a regional team) providing consultancy, outsourcing, recruitment, solutions and technology, and training to procurement organisations, or executed a project in the region. Outlined initiatives must have been delivered and made an impact between December 2022 and June 2024.
