The Challenger Sustainability programme is a 3-month acceleration initiative designed to support early-stage Ukrainian green tech startups in scaling their products, attracting investment, and preparing for international growth.
The programme focuses on growth support for early-stage Ukrainian startups, green technology and sustainable tech solutions, product development, investment attraction, expert-led capacity building, international mentorship, networking and partnership matchmaking, investor access, EU client engagement, and post-acceleration international expansion including study visits and ecosystem exposure.
The programme provides an expert-led workshop series delivered by international specialists, experienced founders, investors, and industry professionals to help startups strengthen their business and technical capabilities. These sessions are designed to support practical learning and strategic development.
Participants also gain access to structured networking and partnership matchmaking opportunities, including pitching sessions, Demo Day events, startup feedback sessions, and curated interactions with potential partners and stakeholders, along with a study visit to Sweden and participation in Tech Arena.
A dedicated individual mentorship programme is included, offering tailored one-on-one guidance with progress tracking, goal setting, pitch refinement, and strategic advisory support based on each startup’s specific needs and stage of development.
The programme further enables international investor access through curated introductions and investment-focused sessions, helping startups connect with potential investors and explore funding opportunities for scaling and expansion.
Eligibility is focused on Ukrainian teams working in sustainable technology, with motivated groups of at least two members, startups with pilot-ready prototypes, and ventures prepared for international scaling and investment readiness.
