The TribePreneurs Idea Quest is an initiative aimed at building a supportive entrepreneurial ecosystem for Tribal startups through structured support and innovation opportunities across India.
The focus areas include health and nutrition, education and skill development, agriculture, technology and AI, and AgriTech and forest-based innovations.
The programme offers fiscal incentives to winning startups, including a first prize of Rs. 7 lakhs, a second prize of Rs. 5 lakhs, and a third prize of Rs. 4 lakhs.
The programme seeks to identify and support Tribal startups while creating a national platform for entrepreneurs to showcase their ideas and innovations. It also aims to provide targeted financial assistance and structured hand-holding support to selected winning startups.
The initiative focuses on strengthening entrepreneurship among Tribal communities by encouraging innovation-driven solutions across multiple sectors. It supports startups that can contribute to social and economic development through sustainable and technology-driven ideas.
A key objective of the programme is to provide long-term structured support that helps Tribal startups grow within a conducive entrepreneurial ecosystem. The platform also enables innovators to gain visibility and access opportunities for development and expansion.
The programme is open to startups with 51 percent or more shareholding by Scheduled Tribes entrepreneurs, ensuring that the initiative directly supports Tribal-led enterprises and innovation.
