Advancing PNG Women Leader’s Network Inc. has announced the Rural PNG Value Adding Small Grants Program.
Rural PNG Value Adding Small Grants is a program coordinated by Advancing PNG Women Leader’s Network Inc. for recognised NGOs or agencies in rural and remote locations to apply for a kickstart or a boost of K5,000 towards their activities.
The RPVASG program will run annually from 2025 to 2027. In 2025, thirty (30) organisations will receive grants of K5,000 after a careful and comprehensive screening process. Sixty (60) more organisations will receive K5,000 in 2026 and another sixty (60) successful groups will also receive the same in 2027.
By the end of 2027, APNGWLN will have given out One Hundred & Fifty (150) grants of K5,000 each as funding injections into Rural PNG towards community development and peacebuilding.
Eligibility Criteria
- Before applying, make sure you satisfy all the points below:
- Must be registered with IPA or have 3x community referees;
- Must have a business/non-personal bank account;
- Must have evidence-based presence in the locale that will benefit from this grant;
- Purpose of grant must be within rural or remote geography within Papua New Guinea. (Urban settlements are not within this scope);
- Must have a compelling narrative to support why your organization was formed; and
- Must have goals aligned to peacebuilding and rebuilding social capital in your community.
