IDBI Innovate 2026 is a national-level innovation challenge that brings together startups, FinTech companies, and professionals to develop scalable solutions for real-world banking challenges and potential deployment within IDBI Bank.
The focus areas, objectives, priorities, and themes of the challenge are artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data-driven methodologies for banking solutions, solving real business problems with measurable impact, enabling participation from professionals, startups, and FinTech companies, and creating opportunities for innovation, co-development, and implementation with IDBI Bank.
The challenge is designed to move beyond experimentation by providing selected teams with a structured roadmap to develop solutions that may progress towards Proof of Concept within the bank’s sandbox environment.
Shortlisted participants will receive access to sandbox APIs, synthetic banking datasets, cloud infrastructure, and direct mentorship from digital transformation experts throughout the challenge.
IDBI Innovate 2026 includes multiple problem statements and an open runway for participants to redefine banking solutions. The challenge areas include Wealth Advisory, Conversational AI, and Mobile Banking, with a focus on creating AI-powered digital wealth management applications that integrate with banking platforms to deliver personalized and scalable advisory services.
The program offers a total prize pool of ₹15,00,000 distributed across different tracks. Problem statement tracks provide awards for winners and runners-up, while the Novel Idea Track offers a separate recognition opportunity for innovative concepts.
Winning teams may gain access to a structured pathway towards collaboration, implementation planning, and Proof of Concept development within IDBI Bank’s sandbox environment.
Participants receive banking-grade resources including sandbox banking APIs, synthetic datasets covering transactions, MSME financials, and UPI patterns, cloud infrastructure support, reference architecture guides, product walkthroughs, and expert mentorship.
The challenge is open to experienced professionals, registered startups, and FinTech companies. Both early-stage startups and established FinTechs can participate by registering through the Hack2skill platform before the deadline.
