Deadline Date: September 18, 2026
The FutureProof Textiles Eurocluster has launched its first Open Call to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the textile sector through funding and capacity-building initiatives that accelerate digital and green transition.
The focus areas of this call are digital transformation, green sustainability, circular economy, sustainable production, digital innovation, international collaboration, textile manufacturing, apparel manufacturing, textile-based products, technical textiles, textile recycling, and innovative solutions for the textile value chain.
Selected SMEs will receive grants of up to €50,000 along with tailored support to strengthen their competitiveness. The programme also provides an average of 40 hours of training on digital transformation, circular economy principles, and sustainable production. Up to six SMEs will receive dedicated technical consulting and mentoring based on their specific needs. In addition, participants will benefit from open-access training materials, best-practice guides, and cross-border networking opportunities that encourage collaboration across the textile ecosystem.
The call is open to individual SMEs operating in the textile value chain or complementary sectors whose innovations directly contribute to the textile industry. Applicants must be legally established in countries participating in the Single Market Programme (SMP), meet the SME definition under the European Commission Recommendation 2003/361/EC, and have at least one English-speaking staff member involved in the project.
Applicants may submit one proposal for a Green Transition project and one for a Digital Innovation project, with separate applications required for each. However, each SME can receive only one grant under the programme. Proposals must demonstrate a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 5 or higher and be submitted in English through the EU Survey Platform before the deadline. Applicants must also complete and upload all required eligibility and declaration documents as part of the application process.
