The Women/Transgender Productisation Grant is now accepting applications to support women and transgender-led startups in transforming their Minimum Viable Prototype (MVP) into a market-ready product.
The programme focuses on supporting women and transgender-led startups, product development, productisation, and the conversion of Minimum Viable Prototypes (MVPs) into market-ready products.
The Women/Transgender Productisation Grant is designed to provide additional support beyond the standard Productization Grant. It is available to startups where women or transgender founders hold at least 51% shareholding, in accordance with government norms.
Eligible startups can receive an additional grant of up to ₹5 lakhs over the Productization Grant. The overall benefit available under the programme is up to ₹12 lakhs.
Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements specified under the scheme guidelines. The startup must be in the product development stage and hold a valid KSUM Unique ID. It must be incorporated as a Private Limited Company, LLP, or OPC with an active MCA status.
Women or transgender founder(s) must hold a minimum of 51% shareholding. The woman or transgender founder must also be able to effectively pitch the product and clearly present its key features and essential elements before the Expert Committee.
Startups that have already received the Scale-up Grant are not eligible to apply.
